Lapider is looking for a Building Surveyor to join it’s small but busy, multi-disciplined Building Surveying practice based in Penarth, covering South Wales. We work with a range of clients in residential, commercial and governmental sectors. A flexible approach and the ability to work on your own initiative is essential.
The role will include:
- Technical Due Diligence and Building Surveys
- Contract Administration
- Building Pathology
- Understanding and undertaking Party Wall matters
- Dilapidation surveys and producing schedules
- Producing specifications of works, seeking and evaluating tenders
- Project management and liaison with contractors
- Report writing
- Practical knowledge of CAD would be an advantage
The successful Building Surveyor will:
- Hold a BSc or MSc in Building Surveying
- Already hold, or working towards qualified RICS Chartered status
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
- Hold a full driving licence and own transport
