Project Management

Lapider provides project management functions as either part of the original design package or we can project manage specific construction works on clients’ behalf.

Lapider has a wealth of project management experience ranging from small refurbishment works, large new-build construction works up to million pound renewal schemes. Lapider uses the recognised construction industry forms of contract depending on the size and scope of the works.

Lapider can act as project managers to lead the design and construction process. Lapider works closely with clients to confirm the design brief and project requirements and then will select and lead other specialists consultants, such as structural engineers, quantity surveyors and specialist designers to coordinate the overall project delivery.

Project management services include:

• Pre-design and feasibility coordination.
• Project design production and coordination of technical documentation.
• Seeking tenders and appointing contractors.
• Managing the construction works in progress.
• Monitoring the construction process to ensure that works conform to design and are completed to programme.
• Monitoring budget expenditure.
• Certifying completed works.
