Lapider were appointed by clients to design and project manage the reconfiguration of their 1970’s 3 bed house near Penarth.

The brief was to enlarge the house to provide 5 bedrooms, to change the façade so that it was more in keeping with the rural location and to maximise green energy potential.

The design enlarged and modernised the property, upgraded thermal insulation and included photovoltaic cells, solar thermal cells and a wood burning stove.

The construction works were carried out by Town and Counties Development Cardiff.
