Lapider were appointed to carry out a specialist survey of the tower at Merthyr Dyfan, cemetery, Barry.

Lapider have been appointed by Barry Town Council to act as specialist Building Surveying and Conservation consultants. Following ongoing problems with water ingress and decay Lapider carried out a specialist survey of the tower at Merthyr Dyfan, cemetery, Barry. Access was gained by the use of a platform lift to enable a close inspection of the lead tower and surrounding structure.

Following the inspection, Lapider produced a tender documents and drawings and appointed a contractor to carry out the repairs.
